Spotlight Ag encourages community engagement and values connecting with our global audiences online. Share, discuss, and discover information and ideas through our social networks and connect with other like-minded individuals. We welcome your questions and comments. In order to keep our communities and conversations focused, we’ve established the following guidelines:

Social networks are public

Spotlight Ags’ online communities are open to the public. Anything posted to our social networks may be seen and read by everyone. Because our platform is public and anyone can participate, we cannot be responsible for views expressed other than our own.

Protect personal information

DO NOT share your personal or banking information on our online communities.

Stay on topic

Your comments should be related to the topics posted on our social networks. We reserve the right to delete off-topic comments, and, for instance, will remove any marketing materials, commercial content, and other types of “spam” (such as comments that are posted repeatedly), and will ban users as appropriate.

If you’re posting content

Don’t post content on Spotlight Ag if it fits any of the descriptions noted below.

Video Spam: Content that is excessively posted, repetitive or untargeted and does one or more of the following:

Promises viewers that they’ll see something but instead directs them off the site.

Gets clicks, views or traffic from Spotlight Ag by promising viewers that they’ll make money.

Sends audiences to sites that spread harmful software, try to gather personal info or other sites that have a negative impact.

  • Misleading metadata or thumbnails: Using the title, thumbnails or description to trick users into believing that the content is something it is not.
  • Scams: Content offering cash gifts, ‘get rich quick’ schemes or pyramid schemes (sending money without a tangible product in a pyramid structure).
  • Incentivisation spam: Content that sells engagement metrics such as views, likes, comments or any other metric on Spotlight Ag. This type of spam can also include content where the only purpose is to boost subscribers, views or other metrics. For example, offering to subscribe to another creator’s channel solely in exchange for them subscribing to your profile, also known as ‘Sub4Sub’ content.
  • Comments spam: Comments where the sole purpose is to gather personal info from viewers, misleadingly drive viewers off Spotlight Ag or perform any of the prohibited behaviors noted above.
  • Repetitive comments: Leaving large amounts of identical, untargeted or repetitive comments.

Make sure it’s yours

Only post content if you have the proper permission from its rightful owners. If it belongs to someone else, please don’t post it. Copyrighted and trademarked material and other intellectual property will be flagged for removal.

Be kind and courteous

We believe you can make a positive contribution to our online communities, and we want to hear your voice. We welcome questions and commentary, including constructive feedback and differing opinions, but please remember to be both relevant and respectful with what you post. We do not tolerate harassment, abuse, or threats to others. We reserve the right to remove any posts that don’t adhere to our guidelines and to block anyone who violates them repeatedly. Specifically, we do not tolerate posts that are:

Removal of posts and user bans

Help us keep the community strong:

Each of us is an important part of the Spotlight Ag community. If you see something that you think may violate our guidelines, please help us by using our built-in reporting option. We have a team that reviews these reports and works as quickly as possible to remove content that doesn’t meet our guidelines. When you complete the report, try to provide as much information as possible, such as links, usernames, and descriptions of the content, so we can find and review it quickly. We may remove entire posts if either the imagery or associated captions violate our guidelines.

You may find content you don’t like, but doesn’t violate the Community Guidelines. If that happens, you can unfollow or block the person who posted it.

Many disputes and misunderstandings can be resolved directly between members of the community. If one of your photos or videos was posted by someone else, you could try commenting on the post and asking the person to take it down.

We may work with law enforcement, including when we believe that there’s risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.
